There’s a T-Square in the sky at the 7 through 10 degrees of mutable signs right now (through the weekend). Mars in Gemini, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Mercury in Virgo are stimulating a lot of hot air. Let’s just say our response times are challenged.
Let me give you a practical example: my husband found a nifty find-a-contractor site on the web where competing contractors bid on jobs (thanks handyman Mercury in Virgo!). When I was able to get through to him, he greeted me on his cell with his standard business greeting. Apparently he’s swamped with calls and appointments. We’re not sure who’s coming and when. Can you say rapid adaptation?

In my last New Moon post I spoke to the Leo in all of us – the creator,
muse and artist who doesn’t want to take any &*$% from The Man, who just wants to get paid to do what we love. Professionally speaking, there are many characters in each of us who are just dying to be lived out. In the chart, they’re the planets – like little people who, when given a microphone, have some very informative things to say about many subjects, including life/career direction.
So when I came across this mainstream article in the SF Chronicle,Professionally adrift? Consult your inner neutrinos written by one Gemini reporter, I was intrigued. I don’t know much about Human Design, other than it’s another face of astrology. Although I have one girlfriend who told me her psychic/astrologer uses the Human Design Model who when asked, said:

Astrology in action…
Yesterday, Sun met Saturn in Leo. We hired a couple of workers to build garden walls.
Yes, walls. We all need structural support, right? By terracing our front yard we’re turning unused dead space into nice flat expanses. Gardens, picnic tables and other cool yard ideas are now possible.
Sun/Saturn lives to work and generally sets boundaries on its self-concept. But with the event of garden walls, I’m considering how much space we’ve freed up by setting these boundaries. As a Sun/Saturn influenced person, defining my identity boundaries and bottom line allows far more freedom than doing the opposite. Not (too scared, overwhelmed?) approaching the mammoth task of organizing our hillside is the equivalent of letting the yard sit in neglect. Disuse. And it’s really not an option for Sun/Saturn people. We live to work the dirt by digging in, Read more

Hi Jessica!
First off, let me just say I am addicted to your website!! I have a question regarding friendships in my life. My birthday is Oct 6 1986 1:13a.m.in Summit New Jersey. I don’t know if it’s so many planets in Scorpio or what, but I feel like all areas of my life are in extremes. As far as love relationships I could not be happier with my boyfriend, and I feel truly blessed with that area of my life. Finances, happy to say are great right now. But friendships seem to be on the other extreme. I feel it’s so hard for me to find a friend I truly connect with and enjoy being around. Read more

During last week’s Saturn/Venus conjunction, while I was busily crashing weddings, a friend of mine suggested I see the movie Venus.
‘Uh, maybe it should’ve been called Saturn ,’ said he.
Yes, I had seen it, but I hadn’t really seen it. It was a few months back, one of those nights I needed to escape into a brighter world that this unexpected love story entered, requiring my earnest attention – not the brief mental vacation I was seeking. Fittingly, with Saturn near Venus for much of the summer, I sought Venus and found Saturn. So the subject endures: mature love.
