I am a lifetime believer in astrology and the inherent power of the Universe. My father was the first to instill this interest in me, teaching me the basics of psychic development, astral planing, and astrological influence while still in elementary school.
I was born January 22, 1982 at 1.27 pm in Hayward, CA (Alameda County). I believe that my intuition is sharpening and I long to harness that sensitivity and make it grow into the future. If possible, please tell me what is in store as my interests expand… I am applying to graduate school this fall for my MFA in Fiction Writing and feel compelled to go back east, perhaps to Brown or Columbia. Is my urge to go back to school on par with what I should be doing with my life? Travel, dance, theatre, literature, and a sense of security are all important to me now. I just want to be sure I’m headed in the right direction, and see how the mystical arts can make these possibilities grow.

What’s so fun about Halloween? Inviting your alter ego out to play! The cool thing about the zodiac is that each sign contains universal archetypes, or ways of expressing (like Aries, the Warrior) making it really easy to tap your innate character for character inspiration. Instead of looking through the eyes of your Sun sign, choose your Ascendant or Rising Sun. Your Rising Sign is your mask – a visible “costume” you wear every single day.
Aries: a competitor at heart, winning the Halloween costume contest is as satisfying as a sexy conquest. Go all out. Play with their heads. Let yourself fully inhabit the character by quoting movie lines and bringing plenty of props: blood, guns, knives etc.

I ran across this cute comic about “Pixie” the horoscope writer, cartoon character with a real job. Love that!!! This job o’ mine, it’s fantastic, isn’t it?

Pixie finally manages to get herself a job… as a horoscope writer! Well, haven’t you ever wondered who in the world actually writes the horoscope sections in magazines and newspapers? Are they astrologers or just ordinary writers who can’t get better writing gigs?Shouldn’t horoscopes have a disclaimer: predicted by the great astrologer Blah Blah Something Something? Seriously, if you’re going to trust a horoscope prediction, shouldn’t you check the source of said horoscope at the very least?…
Yes!!! Credentials the credentials are real, too!!
Now that Pixie has a real job, what about Cel, you ask? Well, you’ll find out on Thursday…

With three teenage step daughters in the house, one might think I’d grow
accustomed to the phrase “That’s not fair”. Nope.
Usually it’s around dinner time, one girl is lounging while another helps – justifiably annoying. Or the table having been set, the milk poured, and one milk glass forgotten – who will fill the final glass? The most poignant, curious times though are when one girl asks another for help and help is denied, for various reasons – it’s your mess, not mine; I’m busy, you do it; it’s your problem/fault.
Is it hormones or has Libran’s infamous love for harmony and teamwork gone awry? Or maybe, just maybe, Libra loves to keep score.

Mercury retrograde season again? Oh, yes it is.
Mercury in Scorpio slowing to retrograde brings up the personal shadow
(haunted house special fx… mooowhoohaw….) a sign (or omen) to pay attention to the way we communicate our feelings. Venus in Virgo, Mercury’s ruling sign deepens listening to deepen thoughtful responses. How? Biting your tongue might be an appropriate response one day, articulating your thoughts the next. Shadow stuff directs our laser beam focus around what’s bubbling up on the inside. Scorpio Mercury Rx is like Dr. Freud on the couch. The Dr. incisively penetrates your emotional blocks and self-destructive tendencies, freeing creative energy. Are you ready for the head Doctor?
