Venus in Pisces: A Subtle Enchantress

by | Apr 14, 2011 | Pisces, Venus the Love Goddess | 10 comments

“Love is the hardest habit to break, and the most difficult to satisfy.” -Drew Barrymore, Venus in Pisces

“I’ve learned that people will forget what you’ve said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

“Love is like a virus, it can happen to anyone at any time.” – Maya Angelou, Venus in Pisces

“We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” – Anais Nin, Venus in Pisces

If you were born when Venus was in the constellation of Pisces, the Fishes..

On planet Earth, we place far too much attention on what’s in front of our eyes rather than the infinite possibility contained between them – in our minds eye! To function optimally, any planet in the sign of Pisces must have it’s imagination tickled, and extra senses (beyond all five) opened and stimulated. How will this happen if we’re too busy making plans for the weekend, too busy with the madness of human doing to gaze into the abyss of eternity of human be-ing? The imagination, world of fantasy, and the supernatural is the key to Venus in Pisces’ happiness and joy. Karmically, in this lifetime Venus in Pisces born need to believe in something beyond the laundry lists of the real world, with its attendant list of responsibilities and identities, because chances are there hasn’t been enough time spent in a delicious, rapturous, enchanting relationship with the Great Mystery. Now is your chance to gaze with wonder at life.

A Venus in Pisces in love…

Venus in Pisces is hard wired for a spiritually rich, esoterically engaged soul mate relationship. A relationship based on mundane 9-5 realities with little outlet for soulful spirituality and fantastic creativity, is the not so fun alternative leaving this Venus person unhappy & dissipated. No Venus sign is better at creating a fantasy relationship than this one, and when instead of enchanting the world with her wonder and spiritual curiosity she gets caught up in the fantasy movie of her own making, her love life turns into a web of self-deception and unhappiness. It seems that no one can save her, save a change in her own consciousness. The high potential of your Venus sign is cultivating many relationships in which you connect on a soul level – without the damaging albatross of addiction, delusion, self-deception or martyrdom. The quickest way to do this is to attract a person heading in the same direction, on the same spiritual path, at the same level of consciousness, as you are.

What this Venus sign needs to keep the love going…

Venus in Pisces born are generous with their affections. They find it so easy to love! In traditional astrology, Pisces exalts Venus, which means Venus wears her finest clothes in the sign of Pisces. Tender and generous, empathic and romantic, mystical and soulful, an appreciator of art and connoisseur of exquisite beauty, she is blessed with all these beautiful gifts and yet the Venus in Pisces born person can have a difficult time making their finer qualities work for them. This is because the other side of being generous is indiscriminately giving which is why, in intimacy, she needs to work harder than most at being discerning about who she chooses to give her total devotion. Often humble, always sensitive and sometimes unable to understand her relationships, without the proper outlet for her imagination to play out all of its rich processes confusion can reign supreme in her personal life. Magic, romance, and plenty of down time will keep the love going. Spiritual and mundane activities that quiet down and facilitate inner space consciousness make thisVenus happy;  it’s good for her health, well-being and ultimately good for her relationships.

    Hi Jessica!

I love your blog–and especially this post on Venus in Pisces. I have the Sun, Mercury and Venus all in Pisces in the fifth house, so this post really spoke to me.

Super on point. I have Venus & Mars in Pisces so I am x2 in the way you described. I do fall for the one’s needing to be rescued. Which I can get into situations I rather not have experienced. I do have many different types I almost don’t have a type. I believe all can be loved. I have a huge heart and I follow it. Would you say a good match would be someone who also had the same as me. Venus or Mars in Pisces? I tend to fall hard for the Pisces sun signs. BTW Im A Cancer Asc.Capricorn Sun Scorpio Moon. Anywho, Great Post!

I was on the phone with my friend while she was on a road trip and came across this page. As I started reading it, I realized that you are the same person who wrote the book that I just bought, “A Love Alchemist’s Notebook.” I a gasped and my friend was like, “What?” and I explained to her that you are the same author of the book. I have been raving about your book quoting from it! Nothing is coincidence……..The Divine Timing..of it all!!

Thank you for sharing this with me Nicole! Obviously the book has magical subject matter but I’ve learned the physical book itself carries a lot of magic in it. I’ve heard a number of stories like yours…and often wonder if it’s spellbound and enchanted –like a magical grimoire:)

WHOA spot on, this rings so alarmingly true for me with venus (+ sun + north node) in pisces.

AND, just read the previous comments and see you wrote a book with Alchemy in the title … am reading a book called Personal Alchemy at this very moment – took a little break and (a) a friend raved on FB about a beer called “Heady Topper – The Alchemist” and then (b) your book. magic is afoot. 🙂

Venus in Pisces with Jupiter. I’ve had pain and confusion in love so I’m done with it because it had me so undone. It’s like I lost myself so I need to recompose. I am a dreamer, always in my little world at home (4th house) and my friends tend to have worse problems than I do. I’ve realized that they are bad for my mental health. Without knowing it my depression has gotten worse to the point where I just don’t know anymore nor do I want to. I’d say, love is pain ?.
