INTUITIVE ENERGY DIVINATION DECK
A 58 card deck + guidebook to access your inner knowing, utilize your remarkable sensitive awareness, and be guided into deep connection with your True Divine Self!
Are you highly sensitive? A healer, empath, creative, artist? Do you love symbolism? Do you love the sea? If so, this may be the tool you have been looking for.
Long before oracle decks existed, healers consulted Mother Nature for guidance. For questions of the heart, they would interpret the information they had to work with—elements from the surrounding natural world. A walk in a forest, mountains, riverbed, beach could yield many insights.
How can you have more experiences of a world shimmering with guidance just for you?
These cards offer unique guiding principles and energy practices designed to shift troubling patterns and create more ease, peace, and contentment in your life. Drawing on the rich seascape of Hawaii and its gentle Aloha spirit, prepare to access your inner knowing, utilize your remarkable sensitive awareness, and be guided into deep connection with your True Divine Self!

INTUITIVE ENERGY DIVINATION DECK
Excerpted from the guidebook’s prologue…
As an energy sensitive empath and intuitive who loves the language of symbolism, and the sea, the practices in this book, and companion card deck, developed out of an expansion of awareness that required new tools and understanding. On one hand, I felt I had done so much healing work over the years I figured there couldn’t possibly be more! But this was a different kind of “work”—it was an undoing. This was about undoing false perceptions I had learned and coming back home to myself.
I was being reacquainted with a more permanent sense of Being and well-being. This was my Soul—my True Divine Self. I may’ve temporarily forgotten to connect, but we had never been apart. I remembered my Self as grace, compassion, gentleness and total acceptance, and when reconnecting with this abundant, free state of being, I realized I have all of the answers I need. When a problem or question arises, a solution is nearby. I also noticed, when connected inwardly, I felt a certain way. Peaceful. All is well. Of course, I wanted access to this all the time!
One day while walking on Oahu’s Kahala beach and connecting with the land and seascape, the idea fell into place. After all, when we moved to Hawaii in 2018, what had become my singular goal for myself—I want to feel, deeply connected to and centered in ease, peace, grace, and presence all of the time—was mirrored back to me in these beautiful islands. From the grace of hula dancers to the rhythmic sway of palms, from the abundance surrounding—fruit, flowers, wildlife and ‘aina (land)—to the generous nature of the people here who everyday share their Aloha, which means “to live in light and joy,” the Light energy here reminds me of my own connection to my True Divine Self.
These cards represent guiding practices I work with both cognitively and in my feeling-energy body. Not one day passes that I am not asked, by my own Soul, to more fully integrate a truer awareness or understanding. There is always another invitation to more deeply sink into presence and Truth…and then another, and another. Not because there is anything wrong, or something inside needs fixing…not because there is sticky karma to resolve or more spiritual lessons to learn…but because Spirit delights in inviting us to experience ever-expanding levels of fulfillment, joy, peace, contentment.
This is what it means, to me, to be a spiritual person in a human incarnation. This is the work that many healers, artists, writers, creatives are called to do.

Go Inward
Pull your energy back inside yourself.
When your attention has become too focused outside of yourself, it is easy to feel tired, scattered, depleted. You also become vulnerable to picking up energies that aren’t yours. The appearance of this card suggests it is a good idea to pull your energy inward. Have you been focused on external dramas or caught up in another’s energy? Are you feeling overly saturated by external energies, and overly vulnerable to them—feel like you have no skin? You do have skin. There is a definite inside and outside, and yet for sensitives, somedays it is a challenge to feel that physically, in the body.
Depending on how depleted you feel, you may need to close your physical doors, go into a room, shut the external world out. You definitely need to close your psychic doors. Pull back inside. Decide to turn off the psychic antennae that keeps you attuned to what’s going on “out there,” get quiet, and allow yourself to get lulled back into the solitary inwardness of being-ness. Feel the boundary of your skin, how it holds all your internal organs inside. Feel into the boundaries of your beautifully packaged internal organs, how they are inside you, not out. Even if it feels like it gets inside you, energy cannot ever penetrate these protective physical barriers. You are not a sponge; you are aware of energy. You may want to literally call back your energy, inside: ground, root, center, then imagine all of your energy, energy that has been focused on things, people, and concerns outside of you, returning to you. Maybe draw a bath, rest quietly, shut your office or studio door, or take a nap if you can. Whatever method(s) work for you to feel cozy, safe, and back in your own skin again. Be willing to wait for it. It took time to get this depleted, so it will take time to restore you back to you.
Taking note of what may’ve initiated this depletion, and deciding to become more aware of how to protect your energy, is a good idea, too. Similar to the way a night or two of poor sleep can throw your entire week off, energy management is a cumulative deal. As you make going inside a habit, you will incrementally feel more present and less overwhelmed. Like taking a daily vitamin, this practice is an awesome preventative against getting bogged down and exhausted. Going inward is always a good idea.
Symbol:
Hermit crab and mollusks in underwater cave. Despite its name, the hermit crab is an extremely sociable creature. But it also respects its need for alone time. In fact, it can fight to its death for the shell it wants and can make its home out of a piece of coral or wood. No matter whether you need to retreat occasionally or frequently, allow hermit crab to show you how good and right it feels to energetically tuck in—and to really feel the distinction between being in the energy of the world “out there” and being “inside here.” “Out there” leaves you exposed. “Inside here” you are protected; you still get to sensitively feel everything you need to feel related to your environment, but you now have a buffer so you can be in your own energy. None of us are meant to be always “on.” Hermit crab reminds you to choose a shell, and pull your energy in to restore your Divine connection. Go inward. That’s where you’ll find your pearl of wisdom.
Intuition
Listen. Your intuition is active right now.
Your Soul communicates to you through intuition, and intuition is beyond reason, logic, or understanding. Each of us has our own unique way of receiving intuitive information. You might receive yours from dreams, synchronicity, aberrant images arising in your mind, words and complete sentences, magazine or news items, songs on the radio, or even a bodily or physical sensation. What we’re used to thinking of as symptoms, i.e., nausea, headache, extreme fatigue, or hot or cold sensations, can all actually be you registering energy, receiving psychic information. Knowing whether the indigestion caused by your lunch was from the food or energy you picked up is an intuitive skill!
The appearance of this card is alerting you to the fact that your intuitive awareness is very active right now. What are you feeling? What feels off, not quite right? Is this about what’s happening right now, or what’s yet to come (a premonition)? What are your “spidey senses” saying? Ground, root, center, and then sit with this for a few minutes. To inquire a little more deeply, ask: “What do I need to know right now?” This is a powerful question for accessing your intuitive awareness. Trust this voice, that the information you receive is actionable and 100% true for you. How will you know whether it is your mind or your Soul speaking? Soul guidance will always feel peaceful. Even if your intuitive awareness shows up through temporary discomfort, the message itself will feel neutral. Guidance is never fear-based, nor will it come from the mind. Fully trusting your knowing—that is, owning what you know as Truth without exception, doubt, or second-guessing, and without needing validation from an outside source—is the ultimate in intuitive mastery. To get there, it is imperative to train yourself to not write off “strange” or “different” symptoms and feelings when you experience them, and instead get a little more curious about them. Right now, don’t doubt a) that you’re receiving information or b) the information you are receiving. You ARE able to know things without knowing why or how you know them. Trust that. Be light about it. Open up to what your Soul is saying. Finally, now that you are listening inward, don’t forget to listen to what’s been given— take action on the information you’ve received.
Symbol:
The conch shell and a feather. When we lift a magical conch shell to our ear, we can hear the ocean no matter where we are. Since the ocean represents Soul, the Source of Life itself, a conch shell is, quite literally, your telephone to Source! When you open your inner ear and listen for the clear, still and positive voice underneath all the mental chatter, you learn to “answer the phone” from your innate Divine connection. You can ask questions and receive guidance. You can have a conversation with your Soul. The feather represents a necessary light and curious attitude; the lighter we are during inquiry, the more receptive we become and the more clearly Source flows understanding. Dive deep into the cosmic ocean of all-knowingness: be light as a feather, lift conch shell to your inner ear, and most importantly, trust what you hear.
Permission
Don’t hold back. Offer yourself what you crave.
It is strange that we often need to give our self literal permission to do or be who we are naturally, permission to want and do the things we organically love. But if you think about it, from an early age we learned to ask authority figures for permission to be our natural self, with all its unique cravings, desires, and preferences, and these were often denied.
The appearance of this card suggests you are denying yourself permission to do, be, or want something—and your own self-permission only offers you a greater degree of fullness, freedom, and ease. It is time to become more expansive by offering yourself the ultimate permission to be yourself, exactly as you are. Ground, root, and center. Get still. Then ask yourself: “How am I holding out on myself? What is it that I can’t wait to give myself permission to do, be, or try?” Listen as the answers arise, bubble up from your solar plexus. Then, really take this in: I have total permission to… (if you find it helpful, imagine a higher power or authority is granting you permission). Feel the impact of these words on your energy body. How delicious it feels. Permission is soooo delicious! It is the ultimate freedom. When you give yourself permission to be exactly who you are, to want what you want, love who you love, and follow only pursuits that bring you bliss, joy and meaning, a billowy generosity naturally arises inside. You feel a lift, a joy of being-ness, the expansive freedom to be exactly who you came to this planet to be. This is what it means to finally come home to yourself.
Symbol:
Blissful-looking hula dancer surrounded by hibiscus turning toward her. When we finally give our self the permission to want what we want and be who we are, we are no longer held hostage by the doubts and questioning cultural conditioning created for us but not by us. We are finally free. Hibiscus flowers respond to the loving permission of this dancer by turning toward her. All of our experiences of life turn toward us, we feel all of life is truly for us, with our own freeing permission!
